Street Sweeper Class B CDL—Job Description

We work primarily with the asphalt & concrete paving industry. Based upon the needs of our customers the hours of service may be days, nights, and/or weekends. Most highway resurfacing projects work from Sunday night through Thursday night.

The following are required for this position:

Clean DMV record, NO reckless driving, & NO DUI convections
Able to gain clearance to work on US Government facilities
Background check & Drug Test
Work independently on a designated route to clean various retail parking areas & professional parks
Be able to work in any type of weather conditions
Must be extremely flexible with hours of service as our customers’ needs will change daily
Able to work independently without direct supervision
Knowledgeable of Hampton Roads Highway systems
Must have cell phone to communicate with supervisors
Arriving ten minutes prior to start time
Monitor the complete street sweeper operating system & make adjustments as needed
Able to do minor maintenance on sweeper unit daily
Pre & Post trip check on unit (check all fluids & wash to maintain company image)
